Dortha Lee Fauci

Dortha Lee Fauci, 83 of Phoenix, Arizona passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 20, 2022. She was born in Aurora, Indiana on September 1, 1938 and moved to Phoenix with her mother Minnie Thompson, in 1943. She attended North High School, in Phoenix, AZ and graduated in 1956. Dortha met her husband Jim while working as a dental assistant. They had four children.

She was on a bowling league, Cactus Pins for many years and was very active in her children’s school activities. She loved animals, especially dogs and contributed regularly to the Arizona Humane Society.

Dortha is survived by her husband Jim and sister Marla, three sons Angelo, Vince and Danny, her daughter Laura, as well as nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 4:00-7:00pm at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 10:30am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Avenue, Phoenix. Burial to follow services at St. Francis Cemetery.
