Lois Elaine Faulstich passed away peacefully on November 12, 2018, blessed by loving family members.
Born in Ames, Iowa, March 29, 1920, she lived a long, wonderful life of 98 years. Lois grew up in Chicago, daughter of Ella Peterson and Noble Croson. She had two younger brothers now deceased. She met and then married her high school sweetheart Ken in 1940. They shared 66 exceptionally devoted years before he passed away in 2007.
The family including daughter Nancy and son Richard, relocated to Phoenix in 1957 and she lived in the same house from then until early this year. Lois and the family became very involved at Faith Lutheran Church immediately and continually. She was active in Altar Guild, Young at Heart, bible studies and E.L.C.A. women’s groups.
Primarily a Mom, homemaker and corporate wife, Lois was also involved in the community in Goodwill Auxiliary, Motorola Retirees Club and a national sorority supporting Cancer Research.
She and Ken loved to travel, took many road trips and enjoyed their R.V.
She had 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 new great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by many friends and family including daughter Nancy and husband Leo Maxwell, their children, spouses and grandchildren Lance, Pastor Brent and Kristin (Gabrielle and Delainey), Dr. Drew and Kathleen (Leo and Mazie) and Dr. Paige Raetz and Jason (Keaton and Maelyn). In addition, children and grandchildren and two new great-grandchildren of son Richard (deceased) including son Michael and wife Judy (Janeice and Brad and baby Richard, Michael, Celsa and baby Anthony). They and Richard’s daughter Kathy (Layla) also will always treasure Lois’ life and memory.
Special thanks to Orchid Park Home where loving care was given over the last nine months, especially Alina, Alix and Simona.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church on Saturday, November 24th, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 801 E. Camelback Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85014.

I am so sorry to hear of Lois’s passing. I worked with Ken for several years at Motorola and my husband and I visited in their home also. Lois was so gracious. For many years we exchanged Christmas cards or an occasional phone call.
Praying that you find comfort in the Lord.
