Ginny, I am so sorry for your loss. I know that you have many great memories of your 53 years together. I didn’t know Gary really, but I know that he was a supportive husband and fun to be around. I really only talked to him when you both came to my 50th birthday party and I remember that he made me laugh. I know he had some health struggles, but am so sad to hear he died of Covid19. You have good friends here so you will not be alone during this difficult time. We all try to prepare ourselves for this time in our lives but we can’t experience the grief until it happens. Please accept my sympathies and prayers.
