FIERROS, FRANK MICHAEL

July 19, 2019 21 Condolences

Frank Michael Fierros

Frank Michael Fierros was born on October 29, 1961 and passed away on July 17, 2019.
He attended various Catholic grade and high schools. He was an exceptional athlete. He had an awesome pitching arm, play arm and played football with the best of them.
Frank loved the peace and quiet of fishing and was a true fan of the Diamondbacks.
He is lovingly survived by his children, Frank and Mikayla and granddaughter, Addison. Mourning his absence are also his siblings, Gerri Moreno, Joseph Fierros, and Gloria Bernabe.
Frank never spoke badly about anyone and always lent a hand if someone needed help. Our “Pancho” was incredibly selfless, giving, and fiercely loyal. No one will ever replace him.
Family and friends are invited to attend services at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 East Indian School, Phoenix on Tuesday, July 23rd. Visitation begins at 9:00 am, Rosary at 10:00 am and a Funeral Service at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Phoenix. A reception will follow at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1954 N. 24 Street, Phoenix.

    Mountains
Mountains © Copyright by Linda Nielsen

    We are each given challenges,
    it happens all the time.
    Some are given small hurdles,
    while others, mountains to climb.

Although we’d rather stay down here,
in our valleys safe and sound.
God may start us toward that mountain,
to get our feet up off the ground.

With anger, fear, and tears all packed,
    all burdens carrying weight,
we start off on that journey,
    still questioning our fate.

At first the climbing isn’t tough,
    a gradual slow ascent.
Too soon the bumpy path begins,
    with our energy slowly spent.

Then one by one we’ll cast aside,
    emotions not needed for feeling,
that which matters most of all,
    Faith, Hope, Love, and Healing.

Still it gets so hard with every step,
    there’s much to overcome.
    The obstacles set before us,
    are getting very troublesome.

But the higher we are climbing,
    we notice that the view,
    gets more beautiful and beautiful,
    than anything we knew.

And as our energy is fading,
and the mountain top is near.
We know that God is with us,
for He whispers in our ear.

“You needed to climb this mountain,
and be high up in the sky,
For you dear are an Angel now,
set free, with wings to fly.”
