Alice V. Francies “Teeter” passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018. Teeter was born in November 1933 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was the daughter of Nettie Romley Francies and N.N. “Sidney” Francies who preceded her in death, along with her brothers, Norman and Dennis, her nephew Michael and her niece Carina Loren. She is survived by her brothers Sidney (Bobbi), Phillip (Norma), and twin brother, Ellis “Bob” (Judy), and many nieces and nephews. Teeter attended Jackson and Adams Elementary schools and graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1951. She retired as an Arizona State employee after 32 years of service. She was also a partner in Francies Date Company serving as Secretary/Treasurer. Crypt Side Service will be held in the Encanto Mausoleum at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 West Van Buren Street in Phoenix, Arizona 85009, on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. A reception and celebration of Teeter’s life will follow the services. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 4530 E. Gold Dust Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85028. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
