Anthony just two weeks ago proudly completed work on his Masters Degree. He is survived by his mother Pauline Abril; Sons Anthony Jr. and David “D. My sincere sympathies go out to Anthony’s family. I worked with Anthony in the Roosevelt School District. Anthony’s positive attitude always triumphed over any adversity that he had to face; I will always remember him for that. He will continue to live through his own children and grandchildren, as well as through the lives of the hundreds of children he taught, coached, and mentored over the years. Anthony accomplished more in his short time here than most people do in an entire lifetime. As you continue to miss his daily presence in your lives, know that he is, and will continue to remain with you until the day when you will, once again, be together. May God bless you and heal your hearts as only He can.

Mr. Garcia was a wonderful and thoughtful teacher. I was so surprised when I heard he passed. I was a student of his and I can say I was really close to him. He was the kind of teacher who cared about his students and wouldn’t expect failure. Everyone loved him and trust me no one will forget him. My prayers go out to all of his family and friends.
