Jose Garcia

With great sadness our family says goodbye to a beloved husband, dad, grandpa, son, brother, uncle and friend.Jose Garcia, age 63, drifted off to his final resting place while sleeping. Joe was born in Sonora, Mexico on July 20, 1955.  He moved to Arizona at the age of 8. At the age of 17, he joined the U.S. Marine Corp. He will be remembered for the love of his country as a proud Marine and a retired U.S. Postal Service worker. He is survived by his wife Jeri, his children Ronnie Garcia, Christina (Joseph) Riveras, Monica (George) Blea, and Jose II (Maria) Garcia, Nikki Garcia, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, his mother Concepcion, 8 siblings, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 9:00 A.M. with Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M., at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1954 N. 24th St., Phoenix. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be at 2:00 P.M., at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.
