Jimmy was such a selfless man, he gave up every personal goal, his spare time, any and all play time and dream to support his family. I will see you in Heaven Big Brother where we will play music together again. Today I will Play the Ave Maria for Jimmy Garcia and, if needed at your services. Rest In Peace Big Brother.

Hello family, may God be with you all during this time… I have many memories growing up and enjoying the time we shared, watching Jimmy play the drums was so fun and a happy memory I will cherish. Jimmy was always so thoughtful and full of joy…my prayers are with you all…love your cousin Terry Quiroz from California.

My family has enjoyed our times at Garcia’s Las Avenidas for years. We go back to the place just South of McDowel on 35th Ave. On most Saturday evenings, my wife, me and my sister and her husband are there in a corner of the Bar.
If Jimmy was there he always came out to say hello.
The last time we saw him he pulled me over to the side and asked me to pray for him because he was not feeling well.
Our condolences to the family. May Jimmy rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Jimmy’s passing. My family lived near the Garcia family as children and teenagers. I often babysat for Jimmy and his brother, Tony, and my brothers were friends with the Garcia boys. Jimmy was kind and sweet, and I am sad to think that he is no longer of this earth but consoled am by the idea that he is now reunited with his father and sister.
