Martha M. Salazar Garcia, 93, a native of Arizona, passed away on June 29, 2014. She was a loving mother and nana who will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. She worked various jobs from sales to housekeeping until the age of 85. She is preceded in death by her husband Remundo Sr., father Agapito, brothers Mateo and Joe, son Remundo Jr., grandson Joe Duarte and her querido viejo Jess Vasquez. She is survived by daughters Elisa Duarte, Irene Casciola, Frances Soto, Rosemary Terrasas, Annette Martinez and Candy Gault, 24 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 5 great great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1954 North 24th St., Phoenix, AZ. Visitation 9:30-10:30 A.M., Rosary 10:30 A.M., with Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 North 48th St., Phoenix, AZ. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
