Michael E. Garcia, Sr., passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2013 at the age of 44. He was a faculty member of Saguaro High School. He will be dearly missed by family members, friends and student body. He was preceded in death by his son Michael E. Garcia, Jr. and is survived by his granddaughter Navaya C. Garcia, son Manny I. Garcia, parents Ernest O. Garcia, Sr. and Vera Ruiz Garcia, brothers Mark A. Ruiz, Ernest O. Garcia, Jr. (Mireya) and many extended family members and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 5th, 2013 at 10:30am, with a visitation from 9:00-10:30am at St. Mary’s Basilica, 231 N. 3rd Street, Phoenix. Services entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
