Paul Anthony Garcia

Paul Anthony Garcia peacefully passed away on October 7, 2021. Paul graduated from West High School, where he played football and baseball. He was a First Team Arizona All-State selection in High School and a Division II National Championship from Cal Poly Pomona University.

He was an active baseball coach and mentor for many athletes and schools throughout the valley. He loved supporting the Arizona Diamondbacks, Cardinals, Sun Devils, and Suns.

He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, passion for helping others, ability to connect with people.

Paul is survived by his daughter Allison, son Paul, Jr., mother Anita Garcia, brother Gilbert Garcia (Julie), sister Denise Garcia (Jim), sister Gena Salazar (Tim) as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 5:00 P.M. with light refreshments to follow until 7:30 P.M. on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.  For those who are not able to attend please view the live stream at
