Lanny,
As painful as it is to see you going, we know you are in a much better place now, a place where you will no longer fill pain, and where you’ll enjoy eternal life.
I will always remember your smile, dip voice, enthusiasm for shooting at grape fruit and squash, excitement about your man cave, but most of all the passion you had when you talked about your kids. Your eyes would brighten whenever you mentioned their names, and I remember you would not care leaving anything pending at work to go and pick up your kids whenever they called you.
It was great working with you. You leave behind a fiend that will be praying for you and the wellbeing of your kids. Hope to see you again one day.
May you Rest in Peace my friend.

The purchase of mine and Justin’s first home couldn’t have been in a better place. It was you who waved to us and got to know our family from the time the uhaul pulled in the driveway. We became the best of friends and had so many memories camping, quading and just hanging out! We love you so much and are proud to have known you all these years and call you our friend!

Lanny, I enjoyed working with you at A to Z. We had a lot of laughs. Your smile always made me smile. I’d crack up about how much you loved your donuts and had to always tell me, “My donut is better than your donut”, even if we were eating the same kind! I also enjoyed hiding your chocolate from you and watch you frantically trying to find it. Good fun we had! Rest In Peace.

Lan Dog,
Having you as an uncle was more than incredible. You were not just an uncle, you were a friend and a role model! All the times you took me shooting and out in the desert and taught me so much about the military when I enlisted and always were so interested in how things were whenever I was away. It was awesome having such a great relationship with you. I love you Lanny and am so sad to see you go but so glad you are no longer suffering. Thank you for all the awesome memories and for that one time you showed me the “Lanny way” to talk to the ladies when you took me out shortly after i turned 21 (-:
Love you so much Lanny and we all will reunite again one day and i know you’ll be there ready to show us all the ropes again!

To my close and true friend of 36 years,
may your quad ride through heaven be full of good cheer.
You are loved by us all, both family and friends.
This you must know, no one can contend.
Keep riding and smiling with that big Lanny grin,
and know the good times we shared are engrained deep within.
So be at peace, and remember my friend
those quad trails in heaven never come to an end.

I knew Lanny all too briefly, having met him at work just a couple of years ago. I tend to be somewhat distant with most people, but Lanny had such a sweet personality and contagious sense of humor that I was drawn to him immediately. Lanny always had a smile and a joke ready for everyone, and had a true gift for making others smile. I truly wish I’d had the time to get to know him better.
You will truly be missed Lanny, I feel my life is better for having known you, and emptier now for your absence.
Rest in Peace, my friend!
