Maria Gerardo

Maria Montaño Gerardo, 83, of Phoenix, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Native to Arizona, she was born to Francisco and Maria Gerardo in Tempe, AZ on July 30, 1937. Maria was loved dearly by all who knew her, especially her beloved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Mike Contreras. She is survived by her children, Joseph M. Enriquez, Victor Carlos Enriquez, Juanita Contreras, Frances Contreras, Polo Reyna, Rosemary Reyna and Irene Reyna, along with many many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 P.M., on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., in Phoenix. On Friday, March 12, 2021, Rosary Prayers will be said at 9:30 A.M. with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 A.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home. Burial will take place at 11:30 A.M. at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 719 N. 27th Ave., in Phoenix. For those unable to attend, a live stream of the Rosary and Funeral Service will begin at 9:30 A.M. and can be viewed at https://www.facebook.com/WhitneyMurphyFH/live/
