Mary Anne Goldenetz, daughter of James and Anne Goldenetz was born November 3, 1950 in Phoenix, AZ, where she lived her entire life. She attended St. Theresa Grade School, Gerard High School, and the nursing program at Phoenix College. After graduating from nursing school she worked over 30 years in various nursing facilities and was often recognized for her outstanding service to patients. She enjoyed the friendships she had with her co-workers. Mary Anne made the holidays and every day fun and memorable. She loved to garden, cook, and bake for her family. Her life was characterized by a generous spirit, dedication to helping others and many selfless acts. She was a beautiful person who saw only the goodness in people. Family, friends and neighbors felt blessed to know Mary Anne and will greatly miss her. Mary Anne is survived by her mother Anne, brothers Jim (Judy), Tom (Vicki), Tim (Mary Ellen) and sister Kathleen (Elmer); her nephews Jeremy, John, Josh, William, Wesley and niece Jolie. Visitation will be held Monday, March 12, 2012 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix.
