Connie “Hey Kid” Irene Goldian

92, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on July 23, 2011. She was born on March 12, 1919 in Tubac, AZ to Ramon and Rachel (Gastelum) Andrade, a ranching & dairy family. Her great, great-grandfather, Augustin Marquez, did sculpting work on the San Xavier Mission near Tucson. The family moved from Tubac to the Phoenix area in 1920, sontinuing a rural life. She graduated from Tolleson High School. While working at Reynolds Aluminum, she met Domingo Goldian, whom she married in 1945, her beloved husband of 61 years (preceded in death May 2006). She enjoyed family weekend gatherings at “Granny’s”, boating with her family, playing tennis, going to the movies, cooking, sewing and just being a loving mother to her beloved son, Steve. She was preceded in death by brothers, George, Raymond, James & Hector Andrade. Survived by brothers Oscar (Michelle) & Ed (Peggy) ANdrade, sisters Esther Kileen & Dora (Ben) Stanley, her only child, Steve Goldian (Liz), grandchildren Chris (April), Goldian & Tatum (Sang) Yi, great-grandson Lincoln Yi. A Visitation will be held from 6-9 PM with a Rosary at 7PM on Thursday, July 28th at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9AM, Friday
