Maria H. Gomez passed away on February 1, 2023. Maria was born January 16, 1937 to Maria Luisa Garcia and Jose Hernandez in Fresnillo Zacatecas, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Ted K. Gomez.
She leaves behind her sons Luis Muruato (Lupe), Armando Muruato (Marlene), Javier Muruato † (Consuelo), Daniel Muruato † (Lety), Gustavo Muruato (Natalie), Ted H. Gomez (Maribel), Robert Gomez, Daniel Gomez and Sonia Moreno. Maria also leaves behind 22 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Services for Maria will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 4PM- 7PM, Rosary at 6PM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 400 N. 30th Street, Phoenix at 10:30 AM.
