68, of Fountain Hills, AZ, passed away peacefully in his home on November 8, 2014. Tom was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 16, 1946, to John and Mary Greenwald, who preceded him in death. He attended West Technical High School and entered the US Navy serving aboard the USS America. He then earned a B.A. at Cleveland State University. Tom was a retired business owner who kept active in his industry as a consultant after retirement. He loved to cheer on Notre Dame football, travel, and entertain in his outdoor pizza pavilion. He was a mentor and friend to many. He is survived by his wife, Nanette of 18 years; son, Anthony Palumbo; daughter, Melissa Greenwald; brother, John Greenwald; and sister, Patricia Drippon (Scott and Angela). Donations can be made to Samaritan’s Purse (www.samaritanspurse.com). Celebration of Life Services will be held at Firerock Country Club, 16000 E. Firerock Country Club Dr., Fountain Hills, AZ, November 18th, 4-6 pm AND at The Lakes Golf & Country Club, 6740 Worthington Rd., Westerville, OH, December 2nd, 4-8 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
