GRENFELL, DAVIDENA “DENA” MARIE

GRENFELL,

74, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at home.  She was born in San Diego, California on August 15, 1938 and graduated in 1956 from Burros High School in Ridgecrest, California.   She enjoyed her road trips around the Phoenix area and traveling with John and also her lifelong friend, Jackie McPheeter.   Dena loved and enjoyed her neighbors and friends who lovingly cared for her.  Survivors include her husband of 33 years, John.  Dena is also survived

by her children, Cynthia (Rich) Secrest of Silverdale, WA, David and Eric Griesser both of Phoenix, James Grenfell of Tucson, granddaughters Kendra Griesser and Jacqueline Griesser-Secrest of Silverdale, WA, her brother David (Edrea) Fischer of Ridgecrest, CA and her sister Marlene Benish of LaMirada, CA.  She was predeceased by her parents and daughter Michelle Griesser.  Graveside Service and Interment will be held Thursday, February 28 at 11:00 AM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dena’s memory to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, www.pdf.org.
