I’m so sorry for your loss. It has so many years since we have lost touch, however, I have often thought of you. As your aunt Virginia’s son, I share your sorrow.

My sincerest sorrow. As a childhood friend of her children, I have many fond memories of Imogene. I have looked for years to locate her and her family and I am so sorry I am too late to talk w/her one more time. Please contact me and let me know how the rest of the family is doing.

As the anniversary of the passing of Imogene Gunn approches I find it interesting that I am in the possession of Clarence C Gunn’s WWII dogtag. I found it recently while cleaning out my parent’s house (in Lubbock, TX) upon their passing. How and why it was in their possession I have no idea. I have been scouring the Web looking for a lead to contact the family. I fear we may never know the connection, if any, but I’d like them to have it. If the family wishes I will be more than happy to send it to them.
My condolences to the family. Even though we are only connected by a small piece of stamped metal I know the feeling of loss. May the Lord be with you.
