Joe D Gutierrez

Joe Delgado Gutierrez passed away peacefully on April 13, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born to Louis and Connie Gutierrez on August 12, 1933. Joe was born and raised here in Phoenix where he first joined the Army. He was very proud of the time he spent serving this country. As he got older Joe became a painter and gardener. His love for flowers along with his kind and patient nature helped his develop and exquisite touch in the garden. These traits shined through in all aspects of his life, especially when raising his family.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Connie, his brothers Louis and Johnny, and his sisters Lupe and Carmen. Joe is survived by his brothers and sisters: Rudy, Robert, Alex, Mary, Dolores, Frances, Eddie, and Jesse. His three children: Joey (Veronica), Irene, and Becky (Eugene). His Grandchildren: Yvonne, Yvette, Orlando, Anthony, Angelo, Dionna, and Desiree. And his great grandchildren: Dominique, Ernie Jr., Laila, Angelo Jr., Xavier, Cristian, Gunner, Artenio, Braxton, and Randy. As well as Gaybrelle, Janey, Victoria, and Justin.
A viewing for Joe will take place on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home; 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85018. Following that will be a burial at St. Francis Cemetery; 2033 N. 48th St, Phoenix, AZ 85018 at 12:30 P.M.

    My condolences to The Gutierrez Family. My dad Eddie, Linda Gutierrez,
    As I remember my tio Joe, he was always kind to us. Everytime when he was a his mother house my nana Connie. He will buy us ice cream and tell us how my dad Eddie was a kid.many stories of them
    He had on his painter clothes all time we would see him. Always had a smile on him. That’s how I will n always remember my Tio Joe. Love you and see you later. Never goodbye
