HALFMAN,

Virginia, 88, of Phoenix, AZ passed away May 5, 2011. Born in New Holstein, WI. Beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by son Blake H. Halfman, parents Theodore and Francis (Karls) Nicolay, brother Helmuth Nicolay, sister and brother-in-law Alice and Emil Kornack, mother and father-in-law Selena (Greuel) and Henry Halfman. Survived by her husband of 69 years, LaVern G. Halfman, of Phoenix, AZ, daughter Sandra (David) Beyer of Fond du Lac, WI, sons, Ryan Halfman of Woodbury, MN, Steven (Patricia) Halfman of Peoria, AZ and Bradley (Jennifer) Halfman of Mesa, AZ, sister-in-law Sella Nicolay of Chilton, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Colexia and Glenroy Diedrick of Chilton, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 8 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M., with Scripture Service at 7:00 P.M., Monday, May 9th, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd.

    my deepiest sympathy to all of you that loved her. it was jennifers weddding that i last saw most of you, the love your family showed all that knew you was the warmest ever. to those who did not know virginia really lost out. when the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange, hold on to your memories, and let them guide you during this time of sadness.take comfort that those who we love will be waiting to be reunited in eternity. my prayers and love to all she will be missed so cuz she was a wonderful woman. cheryl and bob
