HARGETT, VIRGINIA “GINGER”
Virginia “Ginger” Hargett at 80 years old passed away in July as a result of a heart attack. She will be greatly missed. She enjoyed hiking, reading, traveling and researching the family genealogy. Ginger belonged to the daughters of the American Revolutionary, Mayflower Society, Arizona Mountaineering Club and the Central Arizona Mountain Rescue Association. She always gave generously to family, strangers and charities. She also volunteered at the food bank and at her church. Ginger is survived by her 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and her long time friend, Jim.
On Saturday, August 6, 2022 a rosary will be held at 10:30am with a funeral service at 11:00am at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix. Interment to follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Phoenix.
We only knew ginger for a very short time she will be greatly missed.

Ginger will be missed in in various ways for instance the way she always stayed after all of my Mama’s (Aunt Virginia Hargett Northrop) Birthday parties and help take down decorations, and clean up, there were a lot of them. May the Lord Bless her with a special place in heaven.
