HARMAN, EVELYN LOIS

June 24, 2016 7 Condolences

HARMAN,

passed away suddenly on June 20, 2016 and entered into the loving arms of Jesus, at the age of 81, in Phoenix, AZ.  She was born to Erich and Callie Krentz on November 14, 1934 in LaPorte, Indiana and married to Ronald for nearly 59 years. Evelyn was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas and granddaughter, Sarah.  She is survived by her husband, Ron and sons; Tony (Carrie) Harman of Yuma, Greg (Lisa) Harman of Phoenix, Rev. Vince (Tammy) Harman of Yuma and daughter, Gretchen (Dave) Surridge of Phoenix; as well as 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Even though she had a fear of heights, she hiked the Grand Canyon 17 times, enjoying the beauty of God’s creation.  She loved volunteering and leading a Bible study at the County Jail, hiking, walking and being with family & friends.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 at Christ Church Lutheran, 3901 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ.  Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.

We hold you all in our prayers. We know our loving and tender Father is holding all of you in His arms, and we pray He will bless you each with His comfort and strength during the months ahead. We will keep you in our prayers faithfully for we know how it is to get used to life when a beloved one goes to be with Jesus. There is the joy of knowing she is now full of joy and peace, and she and Nick and Sarah can rejoice together.
    With all our love,
    Paul and Carol Tepker

    Dear Tony and Vince,
We are sad for you at the loss of your mom. It sounds like she was a great lady who loved and served Jesus and others. She left behind a great legacy of children who follow in her foot steps. Blessings to you all as you share special memories together and remember all God has done in and through her life and yours!
Love, Bill, Lorie & Sam Buster
