I remember Joy as one of the more vibrant personalities in my formative years at Gerard. She was limbic, curious and kind. Her energy was boundless and her smile welcoming. Though I have not seen her in decades, my heart is heavy from her passing. My condolences to her family. May you carry her with you in your hearts always.

We remember the many kindnesses shown by Lenora ( and Dale) to our family as we built our cabin not too far from their cabin in Clear Creek. We missed Dale and now we will miss Lenora’s friendly face and the community gatherings. Our heartfelt sympathies to the family.

Kathleen “Joy” Harris was and will always remain in my mind and heart, a beautiful and unique woman filled with life and love for the world and people around her. I knew her late in life for only a brief interval of time and at a time in her life, that was complex and troublesome. Joy, along with those that really knew and cared for her, have been profoundly cheated by her tragic and premature death. I will remember and miss her the rest of my life.

A Beautiful Rose nipped in the bud…Joy was taken way too soon…She has left a sorrowful void..but took pieces of our hearts with her..The world can be harsh for beautiful things and sensitive hearts..Joy, had a crush on “Luke Skywalker, as a sweet, funny little girl, now she can explore other realms, and play amoung the stars, and dance with the man in the moon.Happy trails…till we meet again
