passed away on September 22, 2011. He was born in Chicago on March 18, 1944 to Hon. Frederic and Mary Heineman, the family moved to Phoenix in 1954. Tom attended Central High School and graduated from the University of Arizona where he was a Delta Chi. He worked in the real estate industry following college, including teaching, brokerage and commercial appraisals and was active in the North Central Phoenix Homeowners Association, Alhambra Village Planning Committee the Phoenicians and the Sons of the American Revolution. Tom is survived by his wife Trudy, his two children, Natalie of Boston and Rob of Chicago, his sister Jan Secrist of San Diego. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at 2:00 P.M., at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ

    I was saddened to hear about your loss, Trudy. I don’t believe I ever met you, Trudy, but I remember Tom as a great fraternity brother and friend. I’m sorry he had to leave us so soon.
