HERBUVEAUX, JULES P.

October 16, 2017 Leave A Condolence

Jules Herbuveaux

Jules P. Herbuveaux died October 14, 2017. He was born on November 27, 1942 in Chicago, the fourth of 6 children born to James and Nan Herbuveaux. The family moved to Phoenix in 1946, where Jules attended St. Francis Xavier Grade School, Brophy Prep and graduated from St. Michael’s College of Santa Fe in 1965. He earned a degree in Sociology from Florida State and worked in Hawaii and at Family Services in Phoenix. In later years he became a travel agent – he was his own best client. He worked in and retired from the Office of the Maricopa County Clerk of the Court. Jules was the kind of uncle every child should have – he was the type of man who gave every person along the way a smile, a kind word and a laugh. His family is so grateful to have closely shared his 74 years. He is survived by his brother Jim (Flo) Herbuveaux, sisters Nancy D’Angelo, and Suzette (Peter) Burnside and brother John (Laura) Herbuveaux and those lucky nieces and nephews Nanette and Chris Lawler, Julie and Bob Fellmeth, Christine and Tom Wilson, Annemarie D’Angelo, Tom D’Angelo, Elisa and Timmy Weichel, Beth and Pat Rollins, Jim and Annie Burnside, John and Kimbra Burnside, Jonathon Lam and Sonya Lam and all their families. Jules was deeply grateful for all the wonderful care he received at St, Joseph’s Hospital. The family asks if you might consider, instead of flowers, a donation to UACC Dignity Health SJHMC Radiation Oncology, 350 W. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85013. Visitation is from 6:30 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Mass will be at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, October 23, at Brophy Chapel, 4701 N. Central Ave., Phoenix. Interment will be private.
