What a great and wonderful woman Betty was and will always be what an honor to know her as an outsider looking in. The strength that Jesus gave her to handle such a life of work family children and grandchildren was just amazing. She would be the first to tell you that she was far from perfect but those are the people God uses. The little time that I had to talk to her we’re always filled with the words of wisdom and encouragement, she was a very intelligent woman. Knowing a little bit of the sadness and tragic events of her life of losing three sons would be too heavy for many of us to carry on, but she was strong and carried on for the rest of her children. My deepest condolence to her children who must continue to live on without the anchor. The fifth commandment in the Bible tells us that God wants us to honor our father and mother who gave us life regardless of how they treated us. this was God’s command it was not a choice but a command. Gods 10 Commandments are not choices to choose if we want to obey them or not. God made the rules not us we’ll obey them if we love God and we’ll ignore them if we love darkness, God gives us a choice he won’t force us to love him. The only reason we were born was to get our name in the book of life revelation 20 verse 15 tells us what will happen if our name is not there.
