Shirley Mae Hunter, of Paradise Valley, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2020. Shirley was born to Casimir and Estelle Zarzycki in Chicago, Illinois. It was there, that she grew up and eventually met the love of her life Fredrick Hunter. In 1969 Shirley and her family moved west to Phoenix to start the next exciting chapter of their lives. While raising her 4 girls, Shirley worked as a Real Estate Broker for more than 28 years. During her free time Shirley loved to travel and recently completed the last of her bucket list; seeing the giraffes on the Serengeti.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband Fredrick M. Hunter, her four daughters: Lisa (Richard) Hunter Anderson, Anita Hunter, Colette (David) Kress, and Jennifer (Patrick) Husting, as well as her grandchildren: Aaron (Heather) Anderson, Ariann (Alex) Kitchen, Connor Goudy, Nicolette Goudy, David Kress Jr., Mathew Kress, Adam Husting, Darren Husting, Brian Husting, and Dillon Husting.

A Funeral Mass will be held for Shirley on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at our Lady of the Angels Church; 5802 East Lincoln Dr. Paradise Valley, AZ 85253. Following the Funeral service the family would like to invite all guests to their home; 5919 East Caron Circle Paradise Valley, AZ 85253, for a warm reception where all may continue to share and celebrate Shirley’s life.
