Oscar Jacquez, 58, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away Friday, January 10, 2020. He was born in Los Angeles, California on September 13, 1961 and moved to Phoenix in 1980 to attend college. Upon obtaining his degree as a mechanical designer he worked for several firms in the Phoenix area, lastly General Dynamics Corporation. Oscar never met a stranger and enjoyed talking to anyone who was willing to share their story; he brought love and laughter to countless family and friends and will be missed dearly. Oscar is survived by his children Melissa, Melinda and Michael Jacquez; grandchildren Juan, Jasmine and Javier Rivas; partner Arlene Rubio and goddaughter Janel Rubio. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 6:00 pm at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix.

    Oscar was one of the good guys. I liked him when I first met him at Sperry/Honeywell. We had a lot of laughs and also shared some disappointments. I was thinking back and laughed at some of the joking around we did. I also shed some tears for a very good human being R.I.P. Vato Loco (inside joke) look down and bless your loved ones. Until we meet again Loved you man.

    My heartfelt condolences to the family. Oscar was my Uncle and shared many childhood memories w My Sisters Crystal and Kim and I that I will always treasure. Thank you for always being so loving and caring to us. May you rest in peace.

    Oscar we where great friend back in the days. Kept you always in my thoughts and prayers. After high school we all went are separate ways. But never New where you went
    Until Facebook came along we got in touch again. Hoping tu o come and visit you and family. But that could never happen I got sick and to this day I battle this illness . You beat me to the punch little brother you said anything about being ill R.I.P. ♥️
