Janey Schoblaska died September 6, 2007, after a long battle with cancer. Janey was born August 6, 1960, in Great Falls, Montana, the third of four daughters of Joan and Jim Grenier. She spent much of her life in Phoenix, Arizona, where she lived with her husband, Allen, and raised her three beautiful children, James, Robert and CiCi. The things that mattered most to Janey were her faith, her family, and her animals. For years she was a dedicated religious education teacher at St. Francis Xavier Parish. Janey enjoyed celebrating special occasions with her family, especially during the holidays. She took joy in decorating her home for Christmas and Halloween. Caring tirelessly for abandoned and injured animals, she provided refuge to them as she nursed them back to health. Those who were close to Janey, knew that she was a fighter, a survivor and had a deep spiritual faith in God. She joins her loving Mother in heaven as well as her beloved cat, Kikers. She is survived by and will be missed by her children, husband, father, and her sisters, Suzie, Holly and Mary Kay, and their families. A celebration of her life will be on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Claret Center, 4633 North 54th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85018. A Rosary will be held at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 East Indian School Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85018 on Tuesday evening, September 11, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arizona Animal Welfare League, 30 North 40th Place, Phoenix, Arizona 85034.
