(December 20, 1931 – December 3, 2014) parts with us to join his beloved wife of 59 years, Jacquelyn. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to John and Ellen Jankovsky, Frank joined the United States Air Force where he stationed at Williams Air Force Base as Airman First Class. In 1992, he retired from Garrett, a Division of Allied-Signal Aerospace Company, after 36 years of service. Frank is survived by his children Michael, Steven, Kenneth, Suzette, Joseph, Lisa, Rita and Matthew; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. A long-standing, active member of Saint Theresa Catholic Church, Frank and Jacquelyn were one of the first couples to join Saint Teresa congregation. Frank, an avid baseball fan, enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and the New York Yankees. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014, at 10:00 am at Saint Theresa Parish, 5045 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Society of St. Vincent De Paul.

This was a life well-lived!! Frank deeply loved his wife and children and was passionate about everything he ever did. Frank and I were umpires together back in the 70’s and 80’s. He had a wonderful attitude and handled difficult situations admirably.
There IS a “Field of Dreams” in heaven and we will all celebrate when he calls out “Play Ball.”
Rest in Peace my friend.
