Robert Jansa 95, left this world on February 20, 2021 to join our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years Catherine; 3 children, son Glenn (Vivian), son Keith (Nancy), daughter Maria (Darin); 5 grandchildren, Matthew (Kelly), Nicholas, Ariana, Janae, and Nathan. Robert affectionately known as Bob, Beepa, and Papa worked for GE for 38 years. He retired and moved to AZ where he continued to work for another 19 years for the Phoenix Suns and AZ Diamondbacks.
His strong will and strong heart kept him driving until 95 years old. His favorite things were his wallet, car keys and flashlight. He was known for his delightful sense of humor and quick wit which made him a joy to be around. He loved to playfully harass most everyone, making him unforgettable. He loved his Chicago sports teams and making sure his family had a summer vacation every year. Robert was a true gem, and it was a blessing to have him in our lives.
You have left us heartbroken and yet we know you are resting comfortably with the angels now. Heaven better be ready; you got a good one. We know you are watching over us and this gives us peace.
A celebration of life for Bob will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E Indian School Road, Phoenix. For those unable to attend you may participate via live stream at:

Dear Catherine and Family,
We were so sad when we learned of Bob’s passing. We are remembering the laughing and great fun we had with you and will treasure that time in our own life memories. You “kids” are the best and we so admired your devotion to your parents. May you all be at peace.
Love,
Dave and Fran
