Shadron, John A.
John A. Shadron, 49, of Scottsdale, Arizona, died on June 23, 2009. Born July 7, 1959 to Warren and Vale Shadron. He grew up in Wildwood, IL. and graduated from Warren Township High School in Gurnee, IL in 1977. He moved out to Scottsdale in 1979 and graduated with a BA in business from ASU. John became a Phoenix firefighter and retired as a captain after 25 years of service. Adventurous, creative, and fun-loving, John loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking, hunting, most sports, and was an especially avid ASU sports fan. John is survived by his wife Julie, his two daughters Rachel and Carly, brother Warren Laura Shadron, twin sister Deborah Greg Townsend, and many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Vale, in 1978, and his father, Warren, in 2007. Although he will certainly be missed, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. The wake will be at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Friday, June 26, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. with a 7:00 P.M. Scripture Service. Funeral Mass will also be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Road, at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 27, 2009. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
