
Julie Jamison Jones, 63, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on April 5th, 2018 after a lengthy courageous battle against cancer. She was the daughter of George and Mary Jean Jamison. Born in Two Harbors, Minnesota and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Julie graduated from Ohio State University in 1976 with a degree in Graphic Design. She moved to Phoenix and had an accomplished career with both Best Western International and Koroseal Wallcovering. Julie loved playing golf, watching Ohio State football games, and her greatest joy involved spending time with her two boys, Phillip and Jeffrey. Julie is survived by her husband Cal Jones, sons Phillip Ballinger (future daughter-in-law Karlee Ayers) and Jeffrey Ballinger (Megan), stepson Parker Jones, sisters Leslie Jamison and Stacy Lodico (Vince), brother Robert Jamison, nieces Christine Lodico (Tom Worsley), and Allison Lodico, mother-in-law Carolyn Jones, sister-in-law Kathy Cook (Brent), and dearest friends Rachel and Kurt Peterson and their daughters Logan and Sloan. Memorial service will be on Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 at 10:00AM at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church, 4455 East Lincoln Avenue in Paradise Valley. A reception will follow at Phoenix Country Club at 7th St. & Thomas Rd., Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, Julie requested a kind contribution to your most beloved charity. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
