Josephine S. Navarro, 1917 – 2008, age 91, affectionately known as “Josie” or “Cheppa”, passed to her heavenly reward on May 4, 2008. A life long devotion to God and the Virgin Mary enabled her to carry her Christian burden without questioning God’s purpose for her. Josie was very devoted to the praying of the rosary. Josie is survived by brother, John Silvas, son, Simon Navarro Jr., daughters Lucy Trujillo, Martha Dupras, Catherine Lopez, Mary Aycart and Josie Morales, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren and other extended family and friends.
