
Judith went to meet her Savior and to be reunited with her parents RoseGritzmacherBranley and Bernard Lincoln Branley on October 21, 2008. Judy was born on November 15, 1931, in Tulsa, Ok., and was educated at Monte Cassino Grade School and High School. She tragically lost her parents at age 16 and 17, and left her hometown and childhood friends to reside in St. Paul, MN., with her aunt and uncle. Judy graduated from the college of St. Catherine’s with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1953. Judy’s first love was her husband Bill, her children and grandchildren. Her second love was nursing. She served as aq compassionate nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital and volunteered at the Mission of Mercy Clinic in Phoenix. She loved shopping, knew the best places to have lunch, and truly enjoyed being on the beach in San Diego. She also played the piano and was an avid reader. Judy is survived by her beloved husband, William, and three sons; Mark; PaulKathyof Scottsdale, and JoelBeth of Tempe;one daughter, LuraKen Houck of Phoenix; and seven grandchildren: Corey, Matthew, Kelsey, Caroline, and Clayton Haugen and Bennett and Davis Houck. She will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law HarryEllieHaugen of Scottdale and her sister-in-law KathleenReidarGabrielson of Phoenix; her nursing companions, many neices and nephews and a special friend, Sherry Herndon. Besides her parents she is predeceased by two grandchildren, Laurie and Rachael Haugen of Scottsdale, her aunt and uncle, ElsaMimi and James Branley of St Paul, MN; brother-in-law Donald Haugen
