Vicky and Delores,
I am very sorry for your sudden loss. I met Mike through my brother Brian and always enjoyed his wit and conversations. He was always part of our families gatherings and I know we will miss him. I wish you the best in your futures and will keep you both in our prayers. He will be missed.

I served with Mike on the USS Haleakala (AE-25) from 1892 to 1985. I was his division officer. He was a great guy and a superb sailor. He helped organize a ski trip when the ship was in Japan. I just learned of his death today and am so sad. For years I have been trying to track him down. I am still in shock to hear of this. Delores, you raised a fine man ;and Vicky, you chose well. Please accept my sympathies.

I did not serve from 1892, rather from 1982 — LOL
