KAVANAUGH, NORMA E. “SUGAR”

November 27, 2015 2 Condolences

KAVANAUGH,

peacefully passed away November 18, 2015.  She will be always in our hearts and in our minds as we remember all the good things she has done for so many people.  Growing up back East in Maryland, she attended and graduated Franklin High School, Baltimore, Maryland.  She graduated from Baltimore Commerce College.  She married the love of her life, Dennis, on June 30, 1940.  She was the homemaker of their home for 75 years.  They have been involved with the Lapidary Clubs since moving to Phoenix in 1978.  They traveled to visit all the National Parks, mountains and beaches in the Continental US after retirement.  They would go off and explore the many wonders nature had to offer.  She is a descendant of the Revolutionary War General Nathaniel Green.  She was also involved with the Eastern Star as a past Worthy Matron and her special project was Guide Dogs For The Blind.  She is survived by her loving husband Dennis and daughter Delaine.  Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
