Sharon K. Keller, of Yuma, Arizona, suffered a stroke on Easter morning while at church and passed away on April 11, 2023. Sharon was born on September 29, 1943, in Olympia, Washington to Roy and Flora (Davis) Keller. As the only daughter in a family with an older brother, Ron, and a younger brother, Larry, Sharon was known for her expertise in climbing fences and playing in the mud. She entertained herself with ballet, piano lessons, and excelled at roller skating at Capitol Skateland.
After graduating from Olympia High School in 1961, she enrolled in Western Washington University. Following a year of college, Sharon married Paul Main on February 1, 1963. Sharon and Paul lived on a hobby farm in Enumclaw where they raised their three children, Rich, Patty, and Marsha. They enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, watching their children play sports, and raising cattle. Sharon and Paul divorced in 1986.
Her professional career included several jobs with the State of Washington, most memorably as Dispatcher for the Department of Natural Resources. Other jobs included Office Manager at the Enumclaw Fairgrounds and Administrative Secretary for the King County Sheriff’s Office, where she was dubbed “Office Mom”. She was especially proud of the “Office Mom” moniker.
Sharon was an avid reader and has never been known to drive past a casino. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh, which resulted in her having a large circle of friends, including her sorority sisters from Beta Sigma Phi. She enjoyed spending time with her extended family from the Davis and Keller relatives, especially at family reunions in California. She was known for her genealogy work and produced a large notebook filled with her research for family members.
Having devoted her younger years to family, Sharon spent her retirement years in Arizona, where she enjoyed golfing, traveling, cruising, and Happy Hours with friends. Sharon looked forward to spending summers in Washington State visiting her children and grandchildren as well as numerous friends.
Sharon is survived by her younger brother, Larry Keller; her three loving children; son Richard (Penny) Main, daughter Patricia (Shane) Jump, and daughter Marsha (D.J.) Henderson; adoring grandchildren, Kimberly (Jesus) Garcia, Ashleigh (Scott) Donovan, Kaylee (Christian) Gill, Kolton Jump, Dalton Jump, and Megan Henderson; beloved great-grandchildren Loghan Garcia, Londyn Garcia, Noah Donovan, Kynslee Donovan, and Dustin Donovan; as well as nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her parents, older brother Ronald Keller, and longtime companion Gordon Beebe.
No services are planned at this time.

I just met Sharon this winter as she was our neighbor at Sundance. Even in that short time we could tell she was full of spunk. I am sure she will be missed.

I remember Aunt Sherry as a free-spirited, fiercely independent, fun-loving woman who lived life to the fullest. She was the family organizer who kept everyone well informed. I believe she was one of the first to subscribe to online greeting cards and thereafter a special occasion was never forgotten. Sherry found enjoyment in simple pleasures, good humor, and danced through life’s challenges. Her impact will have a ripple effect on all who loved her.
