
Kenneth Robert Faulstich, 88, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2007 blessed by loving family members. Born in Chicago, Illinois on June 27, 1919, he was a life-long Lutheran and son of Lois and Herman Faulstich. Ken was a veteran of World War II serving in Germany and Japan. He relocated to Phoenix in 1957 from Chicago when he transferred with Motorola and retired in 1983 after 34 years as an accomplished accountant. He led a long and fulfilling life, despite considerable health issues for many years. In earlier retirement years he enjoyed travel especially road trips, which went along with his love of cars. Lois, his loving wife of 66 years survives him. Their devotion to each other was exceptional. He will be dearly missed by all, including daughter, Nancy and husband Leo Maxwell, son Richard, grandsons and spouses Lance Jami Maxwell, Brent Kristin Maxwell, Drew Kathleen Maxwell, Michael Judy Faulstich and granddaughters Paige Jason Raetz and Kathy Faulstich. In addition he was great-grandpa to Janeice, Michael and Celsa Faulstich, Gabrielle, Delainey, Leo and Mazie Maxwell. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith Lutheran Church, 801 E. Camelback Road, Phoenix, AZ 85014, with a reception following at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley which provided excellent, loving support throughout his last extended illness, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014 or Faith Lutheran Church.
