86, of Scottsdale, died September 22, 2015. She was born in Chicago, IL and moved to Phoenix in 1964. Doris is survived by her three sons, John, Jim and Jeff and six grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 27th, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM with a Scripture Service at 7:00 PM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be Monday at 10:00 AM at the Franciscan Renewal Center, 5802 E. Lincoln Drive, Scottsdale. Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale.

Oh.. we are so sorry to hear about Auntie Doris. She has been on our minds a lot this past week. Gawd, she was funny. 🙂 We have quite a few expressions that we inherited directly from her.. “peadapody” for one. She had such a good sense of humor and made us laugh regularly. In all relationships there are ups and downs.. and you have to be able to dig around in the memories and be able to sort through everything.. always remember to keep the good stuff. It will bring you through your dark times.. make you laugh, make you cry. Just hang on to them.
We’ve missed Auntie Doris for a long time, but this makes this new no less sad for us. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all during this time and future. With our Love…
