Mark Lloyd Kunde, 62, a native of Phoenix, died January 23rd, of natural causes in his home. He was a graduate of Heard Elementary School, Brophy College Preparatory, and the University of Southern California. He is survived by his son Joshua Kunde, his wife Chelsea, and granddaughters Harper and Reese Kunde of Phoenix; daughter Kelsey Kunde who resides in San Francisco, California; brother Brian R. Kunde of Phoenix; his step-father, Bill Shover and wife Kathleen Loftin Shover of Scottsdale. He is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd (“Dutch”) Kunde and Mary Jane (“Murny”) Kunde. While at USC, Mark was a member of Sigma Chi social fraternity. He was an employee of Arizona Home Care Products. Mark was a jovial friend who loved and played music on guitar and piano. He was funny and loved to make others laugh. Mark Kunde was a kind, gentle, good man. A Memorial service will be held at Christ Church of the Ascension, 4015 E. Lincoln Dr., Paradise Valley on Tuesday, January 30th, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation with the family will be at 10:30 A.M. prior to the service. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
