It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Allegra Kathleen Kurtz. Allegra passed away on May 3, 2021. Allegra was born on July 15, 2006 to parents George and Annamaria Kurtz, and brother Alexander in Coto De Caza, CA.

Allegra attended Chaparral High School and was passionate about preserving the planet. Allegra was creative and passionate about travel, adventure, and photography. You could find her on the back of a jet ski with her dad or dancing and singing with her mom. Allegra shared a deep love for her pups, Diamond and Pearl. Allegra was a voice of compassion and encouragement to anyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Allegra is also survived by maternal grandparents Fred and Kathleen Mazzilli, Aunts and Uncles Lillian & Dan Turano, Peter & Patricia Mazzilli and Joe and Dena Mazzilli, Aunt Vicki Budzinski and a host of loving cousins.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Friday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E Thomas Road, Phoenix. Interment and Remembrances to follow at 2:30 PM at Paradise Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 9300 E Shea Boulevard, Scottsdale.

In lieu of flowers, Allegra’s family asks that guests donate to One Mind, an organization that accelerates collaborative research and advocacy to enable all individuals facing brain health challenges to build healthy, productive lives.  Condolences and Hugs from Home may be expressed for the family at www.whitneymurphyfuneralhome.com
