LADENSACK,

July 16, 1925 – May 1, 2011
Regina was born to Alvin and Mary Kreusel in Marine City Michigan. As the second oldest of 8 children, Regina helped her family as a patriarchal figure. In her junior year in high school she met her life long love Joseph Ladensack. As high school sweethearts their love grew and blossomed into marriage. They raised 9 children and relocated to Phoenix in 1954 for health concerns for their oldest children. Regina was an active member at St. Francis Xavier Church and School where all 9 children attended. While at St. Josephs Hospital Regina was appointed to clerical coordinator at Cullen Building. She was honored for many accomplishments there and retired in 1989. In 2003 she was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma, she out lived her cancer for 8 years. Regina was called by God on May 1st. Mass will be held at 10:00am, Friday, May 13th at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 13720 W. Thomas Road, Avondale, Az. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Regina will be interred at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery with her husband Joseph.

    Regina’s passing occured on the first day of our trip back to Viet Nam. She was a strong supporter of mine in this return. She will be missed. I’m so sorry that I was not here for the service, but know that she as well as your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Rob and Susan DeFriese
