Condolence from Leslie Wilson on April 3rd, 2022 9:37 am

Dr Larmore was our family’s ophthalmologist for many years. HE WAS SO KIND! One night he came back into the office late to remove a thorn from our youngest sons eye and also treated him for a severe case of poison ivy he got at boy scout camp. I worked in Lutheran Surgery as an RN for 40 years and it was a pleasure to work with him . Peace and blessings to your family, Leslie Wilson

Condolence from Linda Diaz on April 3rd, 2022 10:13 am

Dr Larimore was my ophthalmologist until he retired and I will never be as satisfied. He once came in to the office on Saturday and Sunday to treat a severe corneal abrasion, he truly cared. I also worked in Surgery at Lutheran hospital and he was so kind and always a gentleman. We had good long talks when I came to the office and thought of him as a friend also. Peace and blessings to the family. Linda Diaz

Dear Marcia, Cynthia and Jon,
Dave and I were so sorry to read of Bob’s passing! It was delightful to know you through our mutual friends the Holmans and to come to know Bob professionally through Bob’s expert and compassionate medical practice.
You probably know that Mike McCoy died a couple of weeks ago, and my Dave had his 80th birthday yesterday, hanging in there through four strokes over two years, struggling with aphasia as well as several physical limitations. Please know that my prayers are with you in this difficult time.

Condolence from Rob and Kaye Fisher on April 3rd, 2022 9:58 pm

Doctor Laramore was a longtime friend and trusted advisor of our family. We always took the time to get to know each others family and share storys. His wisdom guided us through several bumps in the road. We feel blessed that the Lord let us share our walk on this road together and his memory will always be with us.

Condolence from George Foster on April 4th, 2022 3:23 am

Please accept my deepest condolences. May God give you strength, comfort, and peace.

My first appointment with Dr. Larmore was in 1976, and I continued seeing him until his retirement a few years ago. I am grateful to him for his service to me and to so many others. He was an excellent ophthalmologist and a kind Christian gentleman.

May you rest in peace, Robert, and through your prayers may you continue your “practice” alongside your Lord and Partner, the Divine Physician.

Condolence from Sherry Shine Ballinger on April 5th, 2022 6:32 am

We, the MHHS Class of 1963 were sorry to hear about Bob’s passing. He was kind and caring friend through our growing up years in Anderson. His parents and brothers were the best. Great memories will be shared at our next lunch. He will be missed by his old friends. I remember the painting class Bob and I took from his neighbor Susie Waggoner when we were in 7th grade , it was a fun adventure and he did quite well. Nancy Rada Thomas often tells of how their bridge lessons went as teenagers. Prayers and blessings to the family. Sherry Shine Ballinger

Condolence from Cinda H. Gutierrez on April 6th, 2022 8:14 pm

Bob and I were classmates from K. through 12th grade and he was my best friend in grade school, spending many summer afternoons together. In high school, he worked harder than anyone else and was extremely motivated to excel. It was a treat to see him at our 50th class reunion in 2013 and I wish we had had more time for reminiscing.
He was always a gentleman ( a gentle man) who had 3 brothers and Sally, his mother, who was a jewel. My condolences to his family.

Condolence from Emily Elpers Carter on April 11th, 2022 5:37 pm

I knew Bob in his younger years when he lived on Winding Way in Edgewood, ANDERSON, IN. I lived few blocks away. I recall riding bikes and sledding with him and his brothers. 🙂 We all had a Blessed childhood.
We had a cottage up on Lake Wawasee till 2017. I tried to stop few times at your cottage a block away, but no one was home. 🙁
You are all in our prayers!

Emily Elpers Carter
