Jeroline (Jeri) Lelakus, born in Whitleyville, TN on November 28, 1927 entered Heaven peacefully on September 17, 2019. Her parents William General and Cleo Elender Cherry and brother Billy Dwayne Cherry preceded her in death. She was also, preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Theodore Leonard Lelakus, her grandson Keith Alleman and son-in-law Gordon Yaji.
Jeroline is survived by 4 daughters and 1 son, Judith Ann (Bobby) Dersch, Jean Michelle Parry, Jacqueline Marie Yaji, Theodore William (Wendy) Lelakus, Jennifer Louise (Scott) Wynn.
Additionally, Jeri is survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-greatgrandchild.
The family wishes to offer a sincere thank you to the staff at Serene Valley Assisted Living in Scottsdale, as well to Arizona Care Hospice for their compassionate care and the joy they always gave to Jeri and her family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix with Graveside Service to follow at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Boulevard, Scottsdale. In Lieu of flowers, donations to Arizona Care Hospice are appreciated. May Jeroline rest forever in peace.
