Dorothy was a loving person totally devoted to her husband, family and God. The bond between Dorothy and Fr. Mike was true to their wedding vows; their devotion and love for each other was always in plain view – an encouraging example for all married couples. Her life was full of ups and downs as it is with all of us. However, she was a warrior dealing with increasing health issues and constant change. And you never had to guess her true feelings when speaking with her. She will be dearly missed.

Dorothy never missed a moment of “preaching” about the love of Jesus and the powerful Baptism of the Holy Spirit.–by deed and word.
Many of us privileged to serve as priests owe the deepening of our faith due to her fidelity to the Lord and to her beloved Michael.
She mentored me in the freedom from the past and its’ shame to go beyond all appearances and seek the “peace that surpasses all understanding.”
God has blessed us with Dorothy “on earth as it is in heaven”

    Dear Fr. Mike and family,
Our deepest sympathy for your loss and our humble prayers during this difficult time. Dorothy is now home to the rightful place God has prepared for her. Surely, we will miss her physically, but she is the place where we all want to be — a place where pains and sufferings are no more.
