Dorothy was a loving person totally devoted to her husband, family and God. The bond between Dorothy and Fr. Mike was true to their wedding vows; their devotion and love for each other was always in plain view – an encouraging example for all married couples. Her life was full of ups and downs as it is with all of us. However, she was a warrior dealing with increasing health issues and constant change. And you never had to guess her true feelings when speaking with her. She will be dearly missed.
I wish to offer my heartfelt condolences to the entire Lessard family, Dorothy was and is the most Godly and loving woman I have ever met. I will miss her as I know everyone who had contact with her will.
Dear Mike and family,
Our deepest and heartfelt sympathy for your loss, but rejoice in the celebration of her life and graduation to be with her Lord.
Dorothy never missed a moment of “preaching” about the love of Jesus and the powerful Baptism of the Holy Spirit.–by deed and word.
Many of us privileged to serve as priests owe the deepening of our faith due to her fidelity to the Lord and to her beloved Michael.
She mentored me in the freedom from the past and its’ shame to go beyond all appearances and seek the “peace that surpasses all understanding.”
God has blessed us with Dorothy “on earth as it is in heaven”
