LEYVA, RUDY VINCENT
Rudy, an amazing heart and soul called home to be with the Lord, March 12, 2017. A brother, father, son, Tio, friend, companion, cousin, Marine Corp Veteran and so much more! He is loved and missed. He’s doing a dance in Heaven for us all today. His memory lives on in the hearts of all that had the pleasure of meeting him. We love you so much; Rest In Peace Rude Dog. Rudy was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona to Robert and Josephine Leyva on December 20, 1983. Rudy’s parents along with his brother Andy were blessed to have him for thirty-three wonderful years and made many lasting memories with him. Rudy’s legacy lives on through Roman Santiago who is so much like his Daddy. Today we celebrate Rudy Vincent Leyva, an amazing man with a heart of gold. We will remember the laughter and smiles we shared with God’s new angel. We will miss you Rudy until we meet again! You are forever riding with us.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 27, 2017 from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 10:00a.m at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 19th Avenue & Osborn, 3424 N. 18th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85015. Interment will follow at 12:30p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Cave Creek Road & Pinnacle Peak Road, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024.

My sincere condolences to the Leyva family. My prayers and thoughts are with you. I will truly miss Rudy. I only knew him because of the ASU football games, he was always so polite, very happy young man not to mention handsome. He always and a smile and a hug for me. He was a true joy to talk too. Heaven is so lucky to have him!

I pointed it out to you and Rudy all the time. But when all is said and done….I will miss him greatly he is” One Of A Kind ” one that I will probably never meet again in my life time ….So to me it was a great gift to of got the chance to of ever known him and be a follow rider with him he made rides fun just because he’s him. My most heartfelt condolences go to the family. He is a beautiful soul who is home with our heavenly Father. I’ll miss my cousin Rudy, but it’s comforting to know that I’ll see him again.
My sincere condolences to the Leyva family. I only knew Rudy briefly when he was in high school with my daughter. May God have him by his side and may God bless the family and friends who will miss him.

Hey brother, I remember the CORPS together. You were always a laugh whenever you and I got to talk. You were NEVER shy about where you came from and what God you believed in. I love you brother. I hope to see you in the kingdom. Until then, I’ll always remember you.
