Just got the news! My condolences to all of the family of Robert Lopez. He and all those who lived in the community of “La Viente” grew up together with a bond as a huge family. I remember him teaching his son Bobby how to play the instruments that he had mastered and it was even greater to see them both playing together with their band at “La Casita”….an old favorite place of those in the “70s and ’80s who loved to dance to their music. How great they played together. Robert was very respectful and was loved by many. He had a killer smile and was a gracious man to us. He and his talents will be missed. Bobby (Pito) and Yolanda, the Morquecho’s send their deepest sympathy to you and yours.

It was an honor playing with you Bobby. May the Good Lord and his son Jesus continue to keep you in their memories. My love to the family. It was a blessing visiting with you a couple of months ago. I certainly enjoyed reminiscing. And looking at pictures of our times together. All my love,……. Abby.
