LOY, MARION DELORES (BARBARA)

Marion Loy

Passed away August 4, 2018 joining her husband Eugene W. Loy. Born to Leonilla and Thomas Johnston April 23, 1931 in Phoenix, Arizona. Barbara and Gene were married in September 4, 1950 and lived in many places while Gene was in the Air Force. She will be greatly missed by her children Edward (Jan) Loy, Gary Loy, David Loy, Robert Loy, Cass Mielke, Cindy (Jim) Steckel; grandchildren Samuel Loy; Travis, Michael and Alex Mielke; Warren, Jessica and Dylan Steckel; great granddaughters Addison and Elise. She also leaves brothers Dick (Leah) and Bill (Kathy) Johnston and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. with a Visitation from 4:00-6:00 P.M., on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, in Phoenix. Interment will take place at 9:30 A.M. on Monday, August 13, 2018 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, in Phoenix.     Please accept my deepest condolenes and sadness to hear of Aunt Barbara’s passing. I apologize not to have said anything sooner but I only this moment learned of it (on the far side of the Pacific one gets out of touch). My prayers and thoughts are with you all. She and your father lived wonderful lives, did a great many good things, were there when those close to them needed them and were an example to how people should live. I will miss them.
